A YES vote on Prop 50 allows California to temporarily redraw its own congressional districts, creating five additional congressional seats that are likely to be filled by Democrats. This is a strategic move to counterbalance Trump’s power grab in Texas. This measure is how CA can fight fascism and stave off attacks on our immigrant communities, climate, health care, and reproductive freedom.
Ballots were mailed on October 6 and must be dropped off by Tuesday, November 4.
